ANIMAL JUSTICE ACADEMY LUNCHTIME LIVE:
Alternatives to Experimenting on Animals:
Q&A with Dr. Charu Chandrasekera

Animals in labs endure a life of pain, terror, and isolation. Meanwhile 95% of drugs tested to be safe and effective in animals fail in human clinical trials.

Dr. Charu Chandrasekera's research has proven that there's not only a viable replacement to research using animals, but one that's cheaper, faster, and more predictive of results in humans.

In this AJA Lunchtime Live, Charu will share the kind of facts we need to be able to know and share about the exploitation of animals in labs, the inefficacy of animal research, and the alternative human biology-based platforms in biomedical research, education, and chemical safety testing.

Charu is an AJA instructor-favourite, so this is your chance to be able to pick her brain in real-time!

*We invite folks to have their video on during this event to enhance the sense of community, but it’s not mandatory
