ANIMAL JUSTICE ACADEMY LUNCHTIME LIVE:
Turning Our Animal Advocacy to Corporations with PJ Nyman

With the powerful animal agriculture industry lobbying government at every turn, making change for animal protection on the governmental level is an incredibly uphill battle.

That's why more and more animal activism is focusing on corporations and businesses that are more responsive to public pressure. Not only is corporate outreach proving to be an effective way to sidestep lagging legal policies for animal protection, it's helping to end some of the most abusive practices in animal ag.

In this AJA Lunchtime Live, PJ Nyman will join us to talk about promising campaigns targeting corporations in Canada and abroad, what it takes to get corporations to engage in animal initiatives, the positives and negatives of working on welfare policies, and will unveil Mercy For Animals' just-released 2022 Canada Animal Welfare Scorecard.

PJ will also give some guidance for individuals wanting to do some corporate outreach.

*We invite folks to have their video on during this event to enhance the sense of community, but it’s not mandatory
