WAYS TO USE AI IN ANIMAL ADVOCACY
Animal Justice Academy Lunchtime Live

with Tom Conger, Stray Dog Institute
12pm - 1pm ET

You've probably heard artificial intelligence mentioned constantly in the last few months, but have you considered how AI could make you a more effective champion for animals?

In this workshop, Tom Conger from Stray Dog Institute is going to introduce you to ChatGPT... a free powerful text-generating system that could be a gamechanger for your activism.

Tom will give a live demonstration of ChatGPT and the numerous ways you can use it for your advocacy, including:

  • developing impactful messages and campaigns
  • roleplaying to cultivate better outreach skills
  • organizing protests and other events
  • creating compelling content for social media posts, blogs, memes, leaflets, etc.

By the end of this session, you'll be excited to start employing ChatGPT in your advocacy work and have the know-how to make it happen.

*We invite folks to have their video on during this event to enhance the sense of community, but it’s not mandatory

About Tom Conger:

As Executive Director, Tom oversees Stray Dog Institute’s grantmaking, research, and collaborations. Tom began his career in philanthropy service ten years ago when he founded a social venture to help donors and nonprofits make the best use of charitable giving. The venture sponsored donor-advised funds, provided investment advisory services, and developed a software platform to reduce the cost of donating, raising, and investing funds. The affiliated 501(c)(3) now operates as the Blackbaud Giving Fund, which granted $266 million to more than 100,000 nonprofits in 2020. Before philanthropy service, Tom founded and led a boutique research and consulting firm with offices in Washington, DC, London, Shanghai, and Tel Aviv. The firm specialized in foresight and its application to strategy and innovation, primarily for Fortune 500 companies, including many in food and agriculture.
