ANIMAL JUSTICE ACADEMY LUNCHTIME LIVE:
Behind the Scenes of Veganuary with Wendy Matthews

Veganuary is an organization and campaign that encourages people worldwide to try vegan eating for January and beyond to prevent animal suffering, protect the environment, and improve health.

The January 2022 campaign generated 630,000 participants, the launch of 1500 new vegan products and menu options, and 4300 media stories.

U.S. Director of Veganuary, Wendy Matthews, will be giving us a nuts and bolts rundown of how the Veganuary program works, the reasons it's taken off in such a huge way since its launch in 2014, and the particular strategies the organization lives and dies by.

She'll address why Veganuary is more than a fad, their vegan retention rates, and what their 5-year plan is for building a vegan world. Wendy will also share their corporate outreach approach and how they handle opponent copycats like "Februdairy" and "Regenuary".

*We invite folks to have their video on during this event to enhance the sense of community, but it’s not mandatory
